Jackeline Montalvo

Managing Director of Communications & Brand at DREAM

Jackeline Montalvo, DREAM’s Managing Director of Communications & Brand, leads all facets of an external and internal communications strategy to enhance DREAM’s reputation, drive audience growth, strengthen internal culture, and support current and new sources of revenue. Previously, she was head of marketing and communications at BRIC, the leading presenter of free cultural programming in Brooklyn, and held the same role at Ballet Hispánico, the nation’s first and foremost Latino dance organization. She began her career as an editor and publicist at Penguin Random House, where she played a key role in building the Vintage Español imprint into the leading U.S. Spanish-language book publisher. Her list of authors at Random House included Pulitzer Prize winner Junot Diaz and National Book Award winner Carlos Eire.

Jackeline holds an A.B. in Literature from Harvard University and is an alumna of the American Express Leadership Academy, a 2013 fellow of the National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures (NALAC) Leadership Institute, and a 2014 Council of Urban Professionals (CUP) Fellow. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, she’s now a proud resident of Brooklyn Heights.
