Kristen Richards has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Kristen started their career in 2007 as an Elementary Teacher with Teach For America. From 2011 to 2014, they worked at Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, first as a Dean of Students / Data Manager and later as an Academic Facilitator. In 2014, Kristen joined MasteryConnect, where they held positions as a Strategic Client Success Manager and later as a Regional Sales Leader. At MasteryConnect, they focused on building partnerships with schools and districts and supporting them in implementing and utilizing the learning platform effectively. In 2017, Kristen moved to DreamBox Learning where they worked as a Senior Client Experience Manager, responsible for managing and supporting client partnerships. Kristen later transitioned to the role of Manager, Premium Customer Success Team, where they led a team of Customer Success Managers, redesigned key client lifecycle components, and contributed significantly to the company's growth and renewal rates.

Kristen Richards obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Studies and Psychology from the University of Michigan from 2003 to 2007. Subsequently, they pursued a Graduate Certificate of Elementary Education in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, completing it from 2009 to 2011.
