Curriculum Designer at DreamBox Learning

Monique Goodwyn began their work experience as a Teacher at AppleTree Early Learning Public Charter School from August 2011 to July 2013. Monique then worked at Charter Schools USA as a Teacher from October 2013 to June 2015. Additionally, they served as a Curriculum Resource Teacher at Charter Schools USA from June 2015 to March 2016, where they developed and conducted in-service training for teachers and monitored their performance. Following this, Monique worked as a Teacher at Sarasota County Schools from March 2016 to July 2017, where they planned and prepared engaging lessons and modified instructional materials to suit students' diverse needs. From August 2017 to June 2022, they were a LIEP Teacher & Coach at Richmond City Public Schools. Currently, they hold the position of Curriculum Designer at DreamBox Learning, which they started in June 2022.

Monique Goodwyn obtained their Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Delaware State University, where they studied Elementary Education and Teaching from 2007 to 2011. Monique then pursued further education at Virginia Commonwealth University, where they earned a Master of Education in Reading Specialist and ESOL K-12 from 2019 to 2021. In terms of certifications, Monique holds a Collegiate Professional License in Elementary Education Pre K-6 and English as a Second Language Pre K-12, obtained from the Commonwealth of Virginia in July 2017. Monique also acquired an Elementary Education K-6 Teacher certification from the Delaware Department of Education in June 2011, along with an Elementary Education K-6 Teacher/English for Speakers of Other Languages Endorsement from the State of Florida Department of Education in July 2017.
