Camille Simone Thomas

Teaching Artist at DreamYard Project

Camille Simone Thomas is a dedicated Teaching Artist with extensive experience in creating and implementing social-emotional learning lesson plans in theatre for students K-12. Currently, Camille is affiliated with several organizations, including The Center for Arts Education, Apollo Theater, Manhattan Theatre Club, and DreamYard Project. Previous roles include Project Associate at Manhattan Theatre Club, where assistance was provided in recruiting and developing an original Off-Broadway show, and an assistant in the Office of Multicultural Student Engagement at Wayne State University, focusing on diversity and equity training. In addition, Camille served as an Artist in Residence with Broadway Advocacy Coalition, collaborating on art projects aimed at prison abolition. Camille holds a degree from Michigan State University, earned between 2014 and 2018.
