Dan Youel

Dan Youel has extensive work experience in the field of biochemistry and process development. Dan is currently working as the Associate Director of Downstream Process Development at Dren Bio, Inc. since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Allakos Inc from October 2017 to January 2022 as a Purification and Formulation Sr. Scientist II. From 2013 to 2017, they served as a Process Development Sr. Scientist at OncoMed Pharmaceuticals. Before that, they were a Process Development Staff Scientist at Perseid Therapeutics from 2009 to 2013. Dan also worked at Maxygen as a Process Development Associate Scientist from 2007 to 2009. Dan'searlier experience includes roles at Scios, Inc., Valentis, Inc., and BD, where they gained valuable experience as an Associate Scientist, Biochemist, and Production Chemist, respectively.

Dan Youel attended San Francisco State University from 1989 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry.
