Catherine Ulozas is the current Chief Investment Officer & VP at Drexel University. Catherine has over 20 years of experience in investment management, having worked at a number of prestigious companies including Cigna Investment Management, dreamit, ING DIRECT, and Arizona State Retirement System.
Ulozas began their career in investment management at Aetna in 1983, where they worked as a portfolio manager for eight years. Catherine then moved to Cigna Investment Management, where they served as vice president for two years. In 1992, they joined Connecticut Mutual as an investment manager, before moving to London Life Reinsurance/Great West Life in 1996.
At Great West Life, Ulozas was promoted to Senior Portfolio Manager in 2005. Catherine held this position until 2010, when they left to join Arizona State Retirement System as Portfolio Manager. Catherine remained in this role until 2014, when they joined Drexel University as a board advisory member.
In their current role as Chief Investment Officer & VP at Drexel University, Ulozas is responsible for overseeing the university's investment portfolio and making recommendations on how to best grow and preserve the university's assets. Under their leadership, the university's endowment has grown significantly, making their one of the most successful investment managers in the country.
Catherine Ulozas has a Bachelor's degree in Economics/Political Science from Drew University and an MBA in international business from The George Washington University School of Business.
