Charles K. Valutas

Charles K. Valutas is a trustee at Drexel University. Charles previously served as the Senior Vice President at Sunoco from January 2001 to August 2008. Charles also served on the board of directors for Gulfmark Offshore from September 2013 to November 2017. In addition, they were a board member for the Philadelphia Orchestra from September 2001 to August 2017 and chaired the Board Investment Committee. Prior to their work in these various businesses and organizations, Valutas was a pianist for High Society from September 1968 to December 1978 and for the Drexel University Jazz Band from September 1968 to May 1973.

Charles K. Valutas has a B.S. in Business from Drexel University and post-graduate degrees in Petroleum Refining from the Colorado School of Mines, Chemistry from Duke University, and Petroleum Economics from Northwestern University. Charles also has a certification in CPA.
