Zilong Tang is the Founder and CEO of HiFiData since January 2023. Tang has been with DrFirst, Inc. since May 2011, holding various roles including Executive Advisor, Chief Technology Officer, and VP of Enterprise Architecture. Key achievements at DrFirst include leading digital transformation efforts, designing an integrated platform for the Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP), and innovating extensions of the FHIR protocol for interoperability. Tang also directed the design and architecture of the first e-Prescribing platform for controlled substances and the first DEA certified Identify-Proof process. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Software Engineer at RN Solution from 2010 to 2011. Zilong Tang holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Towson University and a Ph.D. in Materials Science from the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Undergraduate education was completed at Tianjin University.
