Fredrik Ericson has a diverse work experience in the aviation industry. Fredrik started their career in 1998 as a Fighter and Transport Pilot with Försvarsmakten, where they served until 2011. During this time, they gained expertise in operational flying. In 2011, they joined the Heavy Airlift Wing as the Chief of Flight Safety and C-17 pilot. In this role, they managed all aspects of safety, advised commanders, and developed safety policies. From 2015 to 2018, Fredrik worked as the Chairman of the Swedish Air Force pilot union at FPI. Fredrik then joined Försvarsmakten again in 2015, this time as a Swedish Air Force Instructor Pilot until 2019. Additionally, they worked as a Pilot at the Swedish Airforce Historic Flight from 2010. Currently, they are employed at Delaware Resource Group as a C-17 Simulator Instructor Pilot.
Fredrik Ericson's education history includes several degrees and certificates related to aviation. In 2008 to 2009, they attended Lund University and obtained a degree in Certified Flight Instructor, specializing in Aviation. Then, in 2009, they pursued further education at Lund University and earned a degree in Human Factors and Aviation Psychology, focusing on Aviation. In the same year, they also completed the ATPL theory program at Lund University. Moving forward, in 2013, Fredrik attended the US AirForce Flight Safety Center at Kirtland AFB and became an Ace Student of the International Flight Safety Course, specializing in International Military Flight Safety Officers' course. Lastly, they completed their education journey in 2018 at SPU Flight Academy, where they obtained a degree in IR ME instruction. Fredrik Ericson's education has primarily focused on aviation and flight safety.
