Peter Langman, Ph.D. has a long and varied work experience. Peter began their career as a Counselor at Community Treatment Complex in 1985 and then moved to YOU, Inc. as a Counselor in 1989. In 1998, they became a Senior Psychologist at KidsPeace and was a Board Member for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention from 2009 to 2010. From 2010 to 2021, they were a Psychologist at Langman Psychological Associates, LLC, providing counseling to children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of issues. In 2018, they became a Researcher at the National Threat Assessment Center of the U.S. Secret Service. In 2020, they became the Director of Research and School Safety Training at Drift Net Securities. In 2021, they authored the book "Warning Signs: Identifying School Shooters Before They Strike".

Peter Langman, Ph.D. began their education in 1980 at Clark University, where they obtained a B.A. in Psychology and Geography. Peter then went on to Lesley University, where they earned an M.A. in Counseling Psychology in 1989. Finally, they completed their Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at Lehigh University in 2000. Prior to this, Peter Langman attended Lower Merion High School.
