Alvaro Rios

Alvaro Rios has a diverse work experience in the energy sector. Alvaro started their career in 1991 as an advisor on natural gas projects for the World Bank and the Ministry of Hydrocarbons and Energy. Alvaro then became the owner and manager of PROSERTEC INGENIERÍA S.R.L. from 1993 to 2004. In 2003, they served as the Minister of Hydrocarbons and Energy in Bolivia. Alvaro later worked as the Executive Secretary for OLADE in 2006. In 2008, they held two positions simultaneously, one as a Director Partner at Gas Energy Latin America, where they provided consulting and advisory services in the energy sector, and another as a Director Partner at Drillinginfo, a database and market intelligence company focused on unconventional hydrocarbons.
