Stephen Gibbs

Stephen Gibbs is an experienced professional in the oil and gas industry with a career spanning from 1995 to the present. Currently serving as a lead roughneck at Archer since December 2016 and simultaneously holding the position of derrickman at Drillmar Resources, Stephen is actively engaged in operations on the Brae Field. Previous roles include roughneck at Rigman and derrickman at Archer - the well company, where responsibilities entailed rigging operations and monitoring drilling fluid properties. With a significant tenure at Transocean, Stephen accumulated extensive experience over 18 years in various roles, including roustabout, roughneck, assistant derrickman, and derrickman. Stephen's foundational education at Buckie High School includes coursework in woodwork, arithmetic, and technical drawing.
