Sarah Puil has over 15 years of work experience in various roles. In 2019, they were the Founder & CEO of BOXT, an enterprise reimagining wine drinking at home based on the european tradition of table wine, and an Entrepreneur-In-Residence at Next Coast Ventures. In 2018, they were a Senior Vice President of Experiential Strategy at Civic Entertainment Group, LLC (A Seacrest Global Group Company). In 2016, they were SVP Product Strategy & Development at Strategic Education, Inc. From 2005 to 2016, they were Vice President of Strategic Partnerships & Initiatives, Office of the CEO at Apollo Education Group. In 2004, they were a Sales Manager at Knight Ridder Digital. In 2003, they were an Internet Regional Sales Manager at The New York Times.

Sarah Puil attended St. Stephen's Episcopal School and graduated with a High School Diploma in 1997. Sarah then attended the University of San Francisco, where they obtained a BS in Marketing in 2001. In 2020, they obtained a WSET Level 1 certification from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
