Gopal Agarwal

Gopal Agarwal has a strong background in the finance industry, with experience in various roles at different companies. Gopal joined Drip Capital in 2018 and currently serves as the Director of Capital Markets, where they have successfully closed private debt transactions totaling over $50 million. Gopal has also onboarded several large institutional investors with a combined assets under management (AUM) of $3 billion. Prior to this role, Gopal was the Director of Account Management at Drip Capital, where they led origination efforts resulting in approximately $390 million in origination numbers and contributed to 80% of the firm's revenues. Gopal helped achieve an 80% transaction activity rate across the customer base. Before joining Drip Capital, Gopal worked at Propstack as the Associate Director and Head of West India, where they made significant contributions to the firm's revenue and managed key institutional accounts. Gopal also worked at Institutional Investor Advisory Services (IiAS) in a business development and strategy role, as well as at HSBC and ABN AMRO Bank N.V. in private wealth positions. Overall, Gopal has a diverse range of experiences in finance and has consistently demonstrated their ability to drive growth and build relationships with key stakeholders.

Gopal Agarwal holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Finance from the Indian School of Business. Gopal also has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the KCG College of Technology. In addition, they obtained the certification of Certified Investment Analyst Pro from the National Stock Exchange of India Limited in 2014.
