Devashish Shankar

Devashish Shankar is the Principal Architect at Drishti. Prior to joining Drishti, they were a Data Scientist at Flipkart from January 2013 to August 2017.

During their time at Flipkart, Devashish worked on a number of projects, including a deep learning-based visual similarity system and a neural network retail modeling system for recommendations. Devashish has also authored an Arxiv paper on their work with the visual similarity system.

Devashish Shankar's educational career began with a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science from Vellore Institute of Technology. Devashish then completed a certification from Coursera in Neural Networks for Machine Learning.

Devashish Shankar works with Chitra Singh - Staff software engineer, Sujay Narumanchi - Principal Architect, and Arvind Saraf - Head of Engineering. and Digvijaysinh Mane - SDE-ML Intern reports to Devashish Shankar. Their manager is Krishnendu Chaudhury, Co-Founder & CTO.
