Tobin (Toby) Trevarthen

Tobin (Toby) Trevarthen has a long and varied work experience. In 2017, they became the Founder/CEO of Spatial Shift. In 2020, they founded and became the CEO of The Narrative Playbook, a narrative design lab. In 2021, they joined SILVER TRIDENT WINERY as a Guest Relations Coordinator, Catalyst Constellations as an Advisory Board Member, and Back to Space, LLC as a Strategic Advisor and Investor. Additionally, they are an Advisory Board Member/Investor for Adtoniq, Co-Founder/Advisor for Drive Time Metrics, Inc., Advisory Board Member for LookyLoo, and Partner and Advisor for Kitchen Collective Club and bUnited, respectively.

Tobin (Toby) Trevarthen has a diverse educational background. Tobin (Toby) obtained a BA in Advertising from Michigan State University between 1978 and 1983. Tobin (Toby) then obtained a Certificate of Completion in Sensory Evaluation of Wine from the University of California, Davis in 2004. In 1999, they obtained a Certificate of Completion in Negotiation for Senior Exec from the Harvard Kennedy School. In 1998, they obtained a Certificate of Completion in Managing Innovation from Stanford University. Tobin (Toby) also obtained a Certificate of Completion in Entertainment Licensing, Electronic Development, Interactive Marketing Communications from the University of California, Los Angeles between 1994 and 1996. In 1991, they attended Northwestern University for Integrated Marketing Communications, and in 1988 they attended the University of Chicago for Strategic Planning. In 2018, they obtained a WSET Level 2 Wine and Spirits from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications from various institutions, including Realm Academy Metaverse Education from Everyrealm Inc. in 2022, Thought Leader on Design Thinking from Thinkers360 in 2021, Rapid Product Prototyping Masterclass from QUALITANCE in 2019, Responsible Beverage Service Training from MindMeld Learning, and WSET Level 2 Wine and Spirits Certified from WSET - Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
