Zachary McDowell

Zachary McDowell has a diverse work experience in the accounting field. Zachary started their career in 2015 at Anders CPAs + Advisors, where they held various roles and gained valuable experience in different industries such as Manufacturing & Distribution, Technology, Venture Capital, and Service-Based.

During their time at Anders CPAs + Advisors, Zachary served as Controller/CFO for clients, streamlining and managing all areas of the accounting and month-end close process. Zachary was responsible for overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, general ledger, and payroll functions. Zachary also utilized cloud-based platforms and automation for efficiency.

In addition to their controller role, Zachary also excelled in tax-related positions at Anders CPAs + Advisors. Zachary served as a Manager, Supervisor, and Senior in the tax department, gaining expertise in tax planning and compliance.

Currently, Zachary is working at DriveCentric as a Controller, starting in 2023.

Zachary McDowell attended Southeast Missouri State University from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting and Finance.

In 2016, they received their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Missouri State Board of Accountancy. Additionally, they became Microsoft Excel Certified at some point, although the specific month and year of this certification are not provided.
