Mark Savage

Mark Savage has a long history of experience in the transportation industry. Mark began their career in 1995 as Deputy Chief for the Colorado State Patrol. During their time there, they led a staff of 800+ sworn law enforcement and ~ 400 professional support employees, with a primary focus on risk assessment, crisis management, training and exceptional service to the 5.6+M citizens of Colorado. Mark was also the project manager of 50+ formal projects related to organizational improvement. In 2020, they joined Huwa Enterprises as Transportation Safety Manager. Most recently, in 2021, they began working for Drivewyze as Director-Connected Truck Solutions.

Mark Savage obtained a Bachelor's degree in History and Political Science from Coe College between 1990 and 1994. Mark then attended the Police Executive Research Forum in 2016 to receive a certification in Current Law Enforcement Issues. In 2014, they attended the FBI National Academy to receive a certification in Executive Leadership. Finally, in 2010, they attended Northwestern University to receive a certification in Police Staff and Command.
