Dr. med. Kerstin Westphalen currently serves as Chefärztin at DRK Kliniken Berlin since December 2011, specializing in diagnostische und interventionelle Radiologie. In addition to this role, Westphalen has been active in various professional organizations, including serving as Sprecherin des Chefarztforum and Vorstandsmitglied of the Deutsche Röntgengesellschaft e.V. since 2021, as well as holding positions as Kongresspräsidentin of the Deutscher Röntgenkongress 2022 and Vorstandsmitglied of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Interventionelle Radiologie und minimal-invasive Therapie since 2016. Previous experience includes the role of Oberärztin at Klinikum Ernst von Bergmann from 2001 to 2011 and earlier positions in vascular and thoracic surgery and as a training assistant. Westphalen obtained a Staatsexamen in Humanmedizin from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and has a background in human medicine from Freie Universität Berlin.
