Justin Massengale has a diverse range of work experience in the field of transportation and bridge inspection. Justin started their career at URS Corporation in 2008, where they worked as a Transportation Inspector 1. In this role, they were responsible for inspecting roadway and bridge construction projects, performing tasks such as concrete and asphalt testing, surveying, and erosion control. Justin then joined the Georgia Department of Transportation in 2011, where they served as a Bridge Inspection Tech 2. During this time, they conducted inspections on a wide range of bridges, including fracture critical steel arch bridges and culverts. In 2013, Justin joined DRMP as a Project Inspector IV. Their responsibilities included inspecting various components of bridge construction projects, as well as conducting in-service bridge inspections for state and federal agencies. Overall, Justin has gained extensive experience in bridge inspection and construction throughout their career.
Justin Massengale obtained their high school diploma from Historic Knoxville High from 2003 to 2006. Justin later furthered their education at the National Highway Institution from 2011 to 2012, where they pursued a degree in In-Service bridge inspection. During this time, they studied various subjects including confined space, non destructive testing, fracture critical, and all bridge types.
