Owen Dirienz

Owen DiRienz has a diverse work experience. Owen started their career as a Layout Designer at UDress Magazine in 2016. Owen then interned at Synchronoss Technologies in product management and marketing in 2015, followed by a product design internship in 2016. In 2017, they had freelance experience as an Associate Experience Designer at Digitas North America and later joined Barbarian as a Junior Designer. Owen worked there until 2019, during which they served as an Experience Designer. In 2018, they co-founded Discernation and held the role of Chief Creative Officer until 2021. Owen also freelanced as a Filmmaker and Director from 2021. In the same year, they became a Guest Lecturer at the University of Delaware. Currently, they are working at Droga5, starting as an Experience Designer and progressing to Senior Experience Designer. In 2022, Owen became an Associate Director of Experience Design at Droga5.

Owen DiRienz obtained their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interactive Media from the University of Delaware, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. In 2016, they also attended the Paris American Academy, where they pursued interests in fashion, documentary, and travel photography. No degree was specified for this particular program.
