Director Of Safety, Quality And Compliance at Dronamics

Martha Romero has worked in various roles in the aviation industry since 2005. Martha began their career with a research project for the Colombian Air Force in 2005. From 2011 to 2016, they worked at Monarch Airlines, first as an Aviation Analyst - Safety and then as an Aviation Safety Manager. From 2016 to 2020, they were the Safety Manager and then the Director Safety - NUK at Norwegian. In 2020, they became the Managing Director at MRA Aviation Management Systems Ltd. and in 2022 they were appointed as the Director of Safety, Quality and Compliance - Europe at DRONAMICS.

Martha Romero obtained their Aeronautical Engineering degree from Universidad de San Buenaventura between 2001 and 2006, focusing on Aerodynamics, Flight Dynamics, Gas Turbine Engineering, Modelling Software, and Aircraft production. Martha then attended The London Skills Institute from 2007 to 2009 and earned a CAE in English Language. In 2009, they obtained an MSc in Human Factors and Safety Assessment in Aeronautics from Cranfield University. In 2017, they attended IESE Business School to develop their Leadership Competences. In October 2021, they were awarded the National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from NEBOSH.
