Jake Howard

Jake Howard is a seasoned UAS specialist and lead aerial cinematographer with extensive experience in the motion-picture industry. Currently serving as a Senior UAS Specialist at Drone Dudes® since August 2018, Jake has collaborated with top-tier clients such as Netflix, Universal Pictures, and Apple, operating advanced drones like the Freefly Alta 8 and DJI Inspire 2 under renowned cinematographers. Prior to this role, Jake was the head drone pilot at Shooting Star Aviation and gained foundational skills as a production and editorial assistant at notable companies including Blur Studio and Park Pictures New York. A graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz, with a BA in Cinematography and Film/Video Production, Jake possesses a robust technical proficiency in editing software and a comprehensive understanding of production processes.
