Justin Waddell

Justin Waddell has over 17 years of experience in design and product development. Justin is currently the Design Director at DroneDeploy, where they are responsible for the quality and direction of design across the organization. Prior to this, Justin was the Chief Design Officer at Rocos - Robot Operations Platform, where they developed and delivered the world's first centralized platform for robot fleet operations. Justin also served as the Head of Design at AskNicely, where they helped develop an award-winning NPS product. Justin has worked with notable companies such as PwC New Zealand, Plexure, Digital Turbine, and MIA, where they contributed to the improvement of user experiences and implemented design-driven approaches. Justin began their career at TOAST LTD, where they gained experience in web design and development. Throughout their career, Justin has demonstrated a strong focus on creating meaningful and engaging experiences for customers.

Justin Waddell obtained a Diploma in Graphic Communication from Auckland University of Technology in 2004. Justin also completed a Certificate in Visual & Graphic Design from the same institution in 2001.
