Grant Guillot has extensive experience in the field of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) regulatory affairs and business development. Grant is currently serving as the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at DroneUp, where they are responsible for overseeing federal, state, and local regulatory matters relating to UAS operations. Prior to their role at DroneUp, Grant spent 12 years in private legal practice, with a focus on advising drone manufacturers and companies providing UAS services. Grant has also worked with companies operating in various industries that utilize drones. Grant has been featured on Fox Business and Fox News, where they have discussed the opportunities and challenges associated with drone use. Additionally, they founded and served as the President of Grant Guillot, LLC, a consulting services firm specializing in UAS regulations and business development. Throughout their career, Grant has represented clients before government agencies and provided guidance on navigating UAS regulations at the federal, state, and local levels. Grant has held leadership positions at Adams and Reese LLP, serving as a Partner and Unmanned Aircraft Systems Team Leader, as well as at Shows, Cali & Walsh, L.L.P. Grant's legal experience also includes roles as an Associate Attorney at Stewart Robbins & Brown, LLC, The Fenet Law Firm, and the Louisiana Supreme Court, where they worked as a Law Clerk to Chief Justice Catherine Kimball.
Grant Guillot attended LSU Law from 2006 to 2009, where they pursued a J.D./G.D.C.L. degree in Law.
