Jared Shoun

Jared Shoun has worked as a Drone Pilot Instructor at DroneUp since 2022. Previously, they held the position of Section Manager at Dynetics, Inc. from 2019 to 2022. Jared also worked as an sUAS Operator at Dynetics, Inc. during the same period. Prior to that, Jared was a Student Worker at Middle Tennessee State University from January 2019 to August 2019. Jared started their career as a Copy Editor at Johnson City Press in December 2000 and worked there until April 2017.

Jared Shoun began their education at East Tennessee State University in 1999, where they pursued a degree in Mass Communications with a field of study in Journalism. Jared attended the university for a period of 11 years, completing their education in 2010.

In 2017, Jared enrolled at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) to earn a degree in Aerospace. Jared'sfield of study at MTSU focused on Unmanned Aircraft Systems. Jared successfully completed their education at MTSU in 2019.

Currently, Jared is pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Jared'sfield of study at Embry-Riddle is Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology, with a general focus. Jared began their studies at Embry-Riddle in 2021 and is expected to complete their degree in 2022.
