Ashwini Chaube

Ashwini Chaube is the Senior Director of Data Science at Dropbox. Ashwini has extensive experience in the field of data analytics, having worked as a business manager, risk analyst, and customer acquisition strategist for companies such as LendingClub, Funding Circle US, and Capital One. In their current role at Dropbox, they are responsible for leading the company's data science team and driving innovation through data-driven insights.

Ashwini Chaube began their career as a research intern at the Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology (RRCAT) in 2003. Ashwini then spent a year working as a technical intern at Tata Motors before joining Carnegie Bosch Institute as a strategy consultant in 2007. In 2008, they joined HSBC as an AVP of Customer Acquisitions Strategy, where they were responsible for credit policy and risk analytics.

In 2012, Ashwini Chaube joined Capital One as a Business Manager. In this role, they led risk, marketing & financial valuation analytics for different credit card products. Ashwini then moved to Funding Circle US in 2015, where they served as the Head of US Customer Analytics. In this role, they were responsible for leading marketing channel strategies and price optimization modeling.

Most recently, Ashwini Chaube joined LendingClub as the Director of Credit Risk Analytics in 2017. In this role, they led customer acquisition strategies for consumer personal & small business loan portfolios. Ashwini then joined Dropbox as the Senior Director of Data Science in 2018, where they are responsible for leading the company's data science team and driving innovation through data-driven insights.
