Smitha Hebbar is a seasoned software testing professional with extensive experience in automation and API/UI testing. Currently a Senior Software Development in Test at Dropbox since June 2021, Smitha specializes in API testing using Python/PyTest and UI testing with Playwright/Typescript. Previously, Smitha served as a QA Engineer at Synack, Inc., where automation of microservices/API and UI testing with TestCafe were key responsibilities. Early in the career, Smitha worked as a Software QA Automation Engineer at Syapse, focusing on oncology product testing, and as a Software QA Engineer at Zenar Studio, where responsibilities included QA process execution and documentation in an agile environment. Smitha began the professional journey as a Consultant Analyst at PA Consulting Group after earning an MCA in Computer Science from Manipal Institute of Technology.
