Emilis Gegevičius

Emilis Gegevičius has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Emilis started their career at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Product Assembler in 2015 before moving on to Sachs Associates Ltd., where they worked as a Sales & Marketing Associate and Event Coordinator from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, they joined Diagnolita as an intern before transitioning to VU Life Sciences Center as a Research Fellow and later as a Lab Manager in the Microfluidics Department.

In 2017, Emilis joined Amerata as a Business Development Manager, where they focused on seeking international business opportunities, scouting new food brands in Europe, and expanding distribution throughout the Baltics. Emilis successfully introduced over 10 different food brands in Lithuanian supermarket chains.

Emilis's most recent role is with Atrandi Biosciences as the Director EU/APAC Sales and Global Sales Operations. Since joining in 2020, they have led the company's sales growth from €100k to €2.0M in 2 years, while also establishing and formalizing the sales strategy and process. Emilis has contributed to the growth of the microfluidics install base from 5 to 45 devices globally.

Emilis Gegevičius began their education at Music School "Azuoliukas" in 2001 and completed their studies there in 2010, earning a Diploma with Honours. Emilis then attended Vilnius Žvėrynas Gymnasium from 2007 to 2014, where they obtained their High School diploma. In 2012, Emilis attended the Extramural Young Chemists School "Pazinimas" for two years, although no degree or field of study is specified during this period. Moving forward, Emilis pursued higher education at Vilnius University. Emilis completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Vilnius University in 2018, after studying from 2014 to 2018. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Biochemistry from Vilnius University, which they obtained in 2020.
