Steven W Sorensen has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. In 2021, they joined Stateline US as an Advisory Board Member and Gradient Proof as a Co Host. In 2019, they became a Co-Founder of Fotin Media. In 2015, they joined Rocketstar, Inc. as a Board of Directors and Board of Advisors. In 2010, they were International Operations Vice President at Manhattan Regional Center. In 2009, they were Regional Project Manager at China Business Network and China Liaison at Infinity Events Inc. In 2020, they became Director Corporate Finance at Dropp Group, where they were responsible for AI/ML, AR, MR, VR, video and web3 enabled shopatainment marketplace, and oversaw the 15M Series A and 25M acquisition of metaverse company Phly, Inc.

Steven W Sorensen began their educational journey at University Liggett School from 1989 to 1991. Steven then attended De La Salle Collegiate High School from 1995 to 1999. In 2003, they were at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics for a Chinese Language program in Mandarin. From 2005 to 2007, they attended The University of Hong Kong for an MA in English Studies. Steven W also obtained a Certificate in Chinese Language Program - Mandarin from The University of Hong Kong from 2005 to 2008. In 2007, they earned a Masters of Philosophy (M.Phil) from The University of Hong Kong with a thesis on "How the US responds to China's rise" in 2010. Finally, in 2011 to 2015, Steven W Sorensen did Masters of Science (M.Sc) courses from New York University in courses such as Finance, Strategy, IT, Human Resources (HR) in M&A, Marketing, and Real Estate Private Equity (REITs). In 2020, they obtained an Investment Banking Financial Modeling and Valuation Training certification from Investment Banking Institute.
