Shubham Turakhia

Shubham Turakhia has been working in the field of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence since 2021. Shubham is currently a ML Engineer and ML/AI Engineering Intern at Drover AI, a Computer Vision Engineer at Automotus, and a Graduate Student Researcher at Robotics and Intelligent Systems Laboratory. Prior to this, they completed a Masters Thesis- A Deep Reinforcement Learning Approach for Robotic Bicycle Stabilization at Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University, was a Software Engineer Intern, Computer Vision at Sensagrate, a Graduate Service Assistant, Seasonal Retail Team Member at Sun Devil Campus Store, and a Teaching Assistant at Arizona State University, and a Graduate Student Researcher at Robotics and Intelligent Systems Laboratory. Shubham also worked as a Design Engineer at DJS Skylark from 2015-2018. During their time at DJS Skylark, they designed and fabricated the fuselage, wings, and empennage of an aircraft, which was ranked 3rd out of 42 teams in the SAE Aero Design Competition in Texas, USA.

Shubham Turakhia obtained their Indian Certificate of Secondary Education ICSE from Ryan International School between 2003 and 2012, followed by a Maharashtra State Board HSC from T.P Bhatia College of Science between 2012 and 2014. Shubham then completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering between 2014 and 2018. Shubham went on to obtain a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Thesis) from the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University between 2018 and 2020. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Complete Self Driving Car Course from Udemy in June 2020, as well as Catia V5 and Solidworks from CADD Centre Training Services Pvt Ltd.
