Amelia Folkes

Amelia Folkes is an experienced professional currently serving as Chief of Staff and Head of the Global Executive Office at the Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi) since September 2016, after holding the position of Executive Office Senior Manager. Prior experience includes roles at Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) within the Access Campaign and MSF International from October 2011 to September 2016, and a tenure at UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, from July 2009 to December 2010. Prior to her work in the humanitarian sector, Amelia Folkes practiced as an Associate in the Derivatives and Structured Finance group at Allen & Overy from September 2004 to May 2009. Amelia Folkes holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from The University of Manchester, completed studies at BPP Law School, and earned GCSEs and A levels from Godolphin and Latymer.
