Ivan Scandale

Ivan Scandale is a Discovery Leader and Senior Program Manager at the Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi) since 2008, specializing in Covid-19 research and non-clinical development projects. Responsibilities include identifying repurposing treatments for severe Covid-19, developing preclinical translational platforms, and collaborating with industrial partners for preclinical development, as well as managing regulatory documentation. Ivan has extensive experience in discovery projects, including building consortia for evaluating compounds against helminthic infections and engaging pharmaceutical companies for compound access. Previous roles include Project Coordinator and various positions in renewable energy and scientific start-ups. Academically, Ivan holds degrees in Chemical Engineering and Industrial Chemistry, along with certifications in Clinical Trials Management.
