Alexandra Ciobotaru

Alexandra Ciobotaru is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and machine learning. Currently serving as a Product Owner for ML-NLP at DRUID AI since June 2022, Alexandra leads the development of the platform's NLP core and introduced the innovative knowledgebase feature. Concurrently, as an Associate Professor at Universitatea din București from September 2021 to August 2023, Alexandra taught Python programming and algorithms to Cognitive Science and Computer Science students. Previous roles include NLP Team Lead and Machine Learning Engineer, focusing on various NLP tasks, as well as a Digital Forensic Engineer and Communication System Design Engineer. Alexandra's educational background includes a PhD in Natural Language Processing from the University of Bucharest, and two master's degrees from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest in Multimedia Technologies and Radio and Optical Communications.
