Peter Burrus

Peter Burrus is an accomplished transportation executive with extensive experience in strategic management and operations across various organizations. Currently serving as Vice President of Transportation at Drummond Company, Inc., Peter develops and oversees the strategic direction of transportation activities within Colombian operations, focusing on optimizing financial performance and identifying growth opportunities. Previously, as Chief of Rail at the Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation, Peter provided executive leadership for freight and passenger rail initiatives. Prior experience at CSX Transportation includes roles from General Manager of divisions to AVP Network Operations, where Peter achieved significant savings and operational improvements. Peter holds an MBA from Marshall University and completed an Executive Leadership program at Harvard Business School.
