Megan Gillis

Megan Gillis serves as the NYC General Manager and Resident Stage Director for Drunk Shakespeare since November 2025, managing all daily operations and a large cross-functional team to enhance audience experience. Concurrently, since November 2016, Megan holds the position of Executive Director at City Lyric Opera, overseeing operations, human resources, financial planning, and fundraising initiatives. Previous roles include Managing Director at City Lyric Opera, Events Production Manager at The New School, and Administrative Professional at Silver Lake, among others. Megan's background in vocal performance, with a Master’s degree from the Manhattan School of Music and a Bachelor’s from The University of Georgia, complements extensive management experience in the arts sector, having coordinated numerous events and initiatives to elevate artistic engagement and community outreach.
