Varshith Anilkumar

Varshith H Anilkumar is a technology leader and entrepreneur with extensive experience in software engineering and data analytics. Currently serving as the Cloud Platform Lead at Dryad Networks since June 2023, Varshith plays a crucial role in shaping the technical vision and managing diverse teams focused on cloud and AI engineering. As the founder of BlockMMP, Varshith is developing a permissioned blockchain platform for secure tracking of prescription dosages in the treatment of opioid use disorders, primarily targeting hospitals and clinics in Rhode Island. Past roles include Senior Engineer at SumUp, where Varshith shaped AI and data engineering strategies, and Senior Software Engineer at Wayfair, contributing to the implementation of AI and data science models. Varshith's early career encompassed various engineering and consultancy roles, culminating in a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Boston University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
