John Mahtani

John Mahtani has extensive work experience in the media and technology industry. John is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Drylab Media Tech, a company that provides on-set production tools and dailies distribution platforms. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Executive Officer at Media Tech SPAC Plc, a special purpose acquisition company focused on the media and technology sector.

Before their roles as CEO, John Mahtani co-founded Cinelab Film and Digital and served as the Chief Commercial Officer, where they developed the international sales and marketing strategy. John also collaborated with major clients such as Warner Bros, Disney, Paramount Pictures, and Netflix. Additionally, they played a crucial role in the acquisition and rebranding of Bucks Media Services.

Earlier in their career, John Mahtani spent a significant amount of time at Warner Bros. Entertainment. Before joining Warner Bros, John Mahtani worked as a Marketing Accountant at CIC Video, a joint venture between Universal and Paramount Pictures. John collaborated with the marketing and sales teams to prepare campaigns for content delivery in the home video market.

John Mahtani attended Broomfield High School from 1979 to 1985. John then pursued a Btec National degree in Business & Finance at Barnet College from 1986 to 1988. Following that, from 1988 to 1990, they studied Business & Finance at the University of West London. Lastly, they completed their education at CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) from 1991 to 1994.
