Vishal Agarwal

Vishal Agarwal has extensive work experience in the maritime industry. Vishal was most recently employed as Chief Engineer at Dampskibsselskabet NORDEN A/S since September 2019. Prior to this, they worked as Chief Engineer at Red Sea Marine Services from September 2018 to February 2019 and at LILLY MARITIME PRIVATE LIMITED from July 2018 to August 2018.

Vishal also held the position of Technical Manager at Gulf Oil Marine Ltd. from August 2016 to March 2018, where they provided technical support to marine clients in the Middle East, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.

In addition, they served as Technical Manager at Ocean Sparkle Limited from December 2015 to August 2016, overseeing vessel maintenance, repairs, and crew training.

Before that, Vishal worked as Chief Engineer at FINAVAL S.p.A. from September 2014 to December 2015, managing ship operation and maintenance, preparing dry-dock specifications, and implementing company policies.

Vishal started their career as a Junior Engineer/Trainee Engineer at V.Ships in September 2000 and later held various engineering positions, including Second Engineer, Third Engineer, and Fourth Engineer. During their tenure at V.Ships, Vishal gained experience in operating and maintaining marine equipment, managing cargo operations, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Vishal Agarwal completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from KITS Ramtek, Nagpur, at Nagpur University. Later, they pursued a post-graduation in Marine Engineering from Marine Engineering and Research Institute (M.E.R.I). This program focused on extensive study of Marine Engines and ship-operations. In 2009, they obtained a certification in MEO CLASS-1 from the Government of India.
