Chandra Penke

Chandra Penke is a highly experienced professional with a strong background in software engineering. From 2007 to 2012, Chandra worked at TiVo as a Member of Technical Staff, contributing to various technical projects. Next, Chandra joined MCN Technologies in 2010 as a Software Architect. In 2012, Chandra joined Tesla Motors as a Senior Staff Software Engineer, playing a crucial role in the development of software for Tesla's Infotainment system. Chandra was involved in UI framework, Maps and Navigation, i18n and localization, and supporting systems work. After leaving Tesla in 2017, Chandra became a Co-Founder of TOverLap.com in 2019. In 2020, Chandra worked as an Entrepreneur and Consultant, building full-stack software in the fintech space using Rust and TypeScript. They provided consulting services focused on rust backend and actively contributed to Open Source projects. Currently, Chandra is serving as the Lead Backend Engineer at DSCVR, starting in 2022.
