Yang Liu has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

From 2020, Yang Liu worked at DSFederal as a Project Manager/Business Analyst, where they supported corporate business operations, internal training coordination, and project operations and management related to public health. They collaborated with cross-functional project teams and clients from various health departments to fulfill training and operational needs.

Prior to that, from 2018 to 2019, Yang Liu worked as a Master's Student Research Assistant at Duke University - Duke Global Health Institute. They conducted literature collection and reviews, data analysis, report and manuscript writing, and other research tasks related to international health financing systems and caregiving for older adults.

From 2015 to 2018, Yang Liu served as an International Project Manager at UK Medu Ltd. They assisted in setting up the company's business in the UK and arranged training programs for Chinese doctors and healthcare leaders to study in the UK.

In 2011, Yang Liu had a summer internship at CCTV+ (Video News Agency) as a Translator and News Editor, where they translated and edited news and reports from international media resources.

Yang Liu has a diverse education history. Yang holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Global Health from Duke University, which was completed from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Translating & Interpreting at Newcastle University from 2013 to 2015.

Yang Liu also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Business Communication from the University of Portsmouth, where they studied from 2012 to 2013. Before that, they completed their undergraduate education by earning a BA degree in English/Business and Shipping Management from Shanghai Maritime University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013.
