Choretta Burns

Choretta Burns has a diverse work experience in the field of compliance. Choretta started their career as an Underwriter II at The Road Home Program/ICF&ACS, where they collaborated with management to develop a disaster planning project. Choretta then worked as an Underwriter III (Contract Employment) at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage before becoming an Assistant Sales Manager at Dow Louisiana Federal Credit Union. Choretta later served as a Quality Control Auditor at The StoneHill Group, Inc., where they played a key role in developing auditing procedures. Choretta then transitioned to Assurance Financial NMLS# 70876, where they worked as a Compliance Officer, ensuring regulatory compliance within the organization. Choretta continued their compliance career as a Compliance Officer at First National Bankers Bank, where they managed commercial banking regulations and laws. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Compliance at DSLD Mortgage, where they provide guidance and expertise on regulatory requirements and oversees compliance testing and analysis on mortgage loans.

Choretta Burns attended Baton Rouge Community College from 2010 to 2012 and obtained an Associates Degree in Associates of Science in Business.
