Ilan Adar

Chief Architect at DSP Group

Ilan Adar has more than 20 years of experience in the field of chip architecture and hardware design. Ilan is currently working as the Chief Architect at DSP Group since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Valens from 2018 as a Chip Architect. Ilan also has experience working at Microsoft, where they served as a Chip Architect from 2014 to 2018, and at Microsoft (N-Trig) as a Chip Architect from 2014 to 2015. Before joining Microsoft, Ilan worked at ARAD as an HW Manager from 2011 to 2014, where they were responsible for system design and architecture of an ultra-low-power water meter. Ilan also served as an HW Director at Celeno from 2005 to 2011, leading the VLSI and verification team in the development of a WIFI MIMO video system. Prior to that, Ilan worked as an HW Director at Actelis Networks LTD from 2000 to 2005, and as an HW Engineer at Seabridge from 1997 to 2000.

Ilan Adar completed their Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 1992 to 1997. Later, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 2004 to 2008.
