Bill Kurtz is an experienced educational leader currently serving as a Senior Advisor and Chief Executive Officer, as well as the Founding Head of School at DSST Public Schools since January 2004. In addition, Bill Kurtz is an Adjunct Professor teaching Strategic Leadership in the University College NonProfit Leadership Program at the University of Denver and serves as a Moderator for the Pahara Institute. Previously, Bill Kurtz held the position of Principal at Link Community Charter School from July 1998 to June 2004 and was an Assistant Principal at Holy Cross School from January 1995 to June 1998. Early in their career, Bill Kurtz worked as an Associate at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from August 1991 to January 1995. Bill Kurtz earned a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Princeton University. Education was also undertaken at Phillips Exeter Academy.
