Mr. Shao Jun is the founding partner of Detong Capital. Mr. Shao was the founder and CEO of Longke Venture Capital, one of the earliest venture capital companies in China. Prior to this, Mr. Shao held five years as a director and various management positions at Shanghai Industrial Group, which is the main investment entity of the Shanghai Municipal Government, and its Shanghai Stock Holdings is listed in Hong Kong. In 1998, Mr. Shao was responsible for the establishment of an asset management company joint venture between Shanghai Industries and Solomon Brothers, which focuses on investing in the Greater China market. Mr. Shao's career began in 1992 with Merrill Lynch.

The projects that Mr. Shao has led include: Wuxi Shangde Solar Power Co., Ltd., Shanghai UnionPay Electronic Payment Company, 91 Wireless Network Co., Ltd. (acquired by Baidu), Boteng Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. (300363), Chongqing Chuanyi Automation Co., Ltd. (603100) and Shanghai Laiyifen Co., Ltd. (603777) and so on.

Mr. Shao holds a master's degree in business administration from the Marshall Business School of the University of Southern California. He studied internationally in international finance at Shanghai Fudan University.

Mr. Shao was selected as the leading Jincai in Shanghai in 2017 and the 30 most influential investors in China in Fortune in 2017. He was rated as the best venture investor in China in 2016 by China by Investment Information and Hurun Fortune, and the most influential investor in 2016-2017 by Ai Wen. From 2006 to 2017, Mr. Shao was named the "Best Venture Capital Person in China" by Forbes Chinese version nine times. In 2016, Mr. Shao was named the "Top 10 Venture Capitalists in China" by Qingke. From 2012 to 2013, Mr. Shao was rated as "Gold Financing?" by Shanghai Securities Journal for two consecutive years. Excellent investor". Mr. Shao is currently the executive director of China Equity Investment Association (CVCA), co-chairman of Shanghai Equity Investment Association (PEAS) and co-vice chairman of Shanghai International Equity Investment Fund Association (SHPEA).
