Linda Pekosi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in gender coordination and women's economic empowerment in Papua New Guinea. Currently serving as a Gender Coordinator at DT Global and Cardno International Development, Linda focuses on achieving goals under the USAID's Women's Global Development and Prosperity initiative, working closely with various NGOs and provincial governments across five provinces. Linda founded Emerging Women Inc.PNG, dedicated to capacity building in areas including financial inclusion and GBV counseling. Previous roles include Social Services Specialist at Refwel Solutions and Gender Based Violence Coordinator at ChildFund Australia. Linda's career commenced in education, holding teaching positions from 1999 to 2009, followed by significant contributions to refugee case management and family sexual violence counseling.
