Kivu Mihigo Nkezabera has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Starting in 1999, they worked at Alcatel as an IN Platform Software Engineer, where they developed processes for the Solaris and Linux IN platforms. After that, they joined Traff-x S.A. as a Software Engineer, focusing on the design, development, and support of a telecommunication platform connected to multiple carriers. In 2006, they became a Software Architect at U-Link Telecom, responsible for designing and implementing connections to U-Link's platform via satellite links. In 2008, they transitioned to BICS, first as an Engineering & Operations Expert, then as an International Account Manager. In this role, they managed a portfolio of mobile networks, promoted BICS solutions, and coordinated multidisciplinary teams. Currently, they are the Network & Partnerships Management Director - Africa at DT One.

From 1994 to 1999, Kivu Mihigo Nkezabera attended the Université catholique de Louvain, where they earned a degree in Ingénieur Civil électricien from the Faculté des Sciences Appliquées, specializing in Electricity, Electronics, and Telecommunications.
