Jacob Boone

Jacob Boone is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Manager of Business Performance in IT and Corporate Services Finance at DTE Energy since July 2019. Previously, Jacob held several finance roles at Ford Motor Company, including Finance Supervisor for Manufacturing Cost Analysis, where responsibilities encompassed managing financial operations for two manufacturing plants with significant budgets, overseeing internal control processes, and supporting the operations team with strategic financial analysis. Jacob's earlier experience includes roles at Ford Motor Credit Company, where Jacob focused on risk-based pricing and revenue analysis, and a graduate assistantship at Michigan State University, mentoring MBA students and assisting with financial research. Jacob holds an MBA in Finance and Strategic and Change Management from Michigan State University and a BA in English from Hope College. In addition to financial expertise, Jacob began a career in education as a Language Arts Teacher, receiving recognition for outstanding teaching.
