Laurie Washington

Laurie Washington has extensive experience in human resources and workforce development, currently serving as Program Manager for Workforce Development at DTE Energy since 2002, where responsibilities include facilitating access to employment opportunities for diverse populations, including veterans and those with barriers. Previous roles include Senior Staffing & Recruiting Specialist at DTE Energy, overseeing recruiting for the Nuclear Generation organization, and HR Manager at RCI, where management of HR functions for a 200-employee facility took place. Additional experience includes HR Consulting at Paragon Trade Brands, HR Specialist at American Eagle Outfitters, and a progression of roles focusing on recruitment and development at organizations such as INROADS Inc. and Allegheny Policy Council. Laurie holds a Master's degree in Human Resources Management from LaRoche College and a Bachelor's degree in Business and Communications from the University of Pittsburgh.
