Neil Szuch

Neil Szuch has extensive experience in NERC compliance, performance improvement, and radiological emergency preparedness within the energy sector. Currently serving as Principal Supervisor of NERC Compliance at DTE Energy since February 2013, Neil has developed methodologies for incident investigations and prepared strategic communications for executive management. Previous roles include Performance Improvement Consultant, where collaboration with business units led to enhanced operational efficiency, as well as various leadership positions in radiological emergency preparedness, managing teams and enhancing compliance measures. In addition to his professional achievements, Neil has a strong background in coaching high school wrestling, successfully developing championship teams. Neil holds multiple degrees, including an MBA and an MSM from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a BA in Communications from Eastern Michigan University.
